Italy 2014 | Tuscany

I am fairly certain there is no place more beautiful than the Tuscan countryside.  The rolling hills, endless sky and rich, vibrant colors make up some of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever experienced.  It’s just unreal.

And can we talk about the food?!  Organic and ridiculously fresh, I don’t think I can ever eat at Olive Garden again. The Tuscans just know what they’re doing when it comes to quality: good food and good wine… they’re my kind of people!

Our absolute favorite day was spent in Siena, biking 40km through the countryside, stopping at vineyards along the way to taste their olive oil and wine.  The weather was perfect, the hills were incredible, and the day could not have been more relaxing!  We found natural sulfur hot springs on the way back and soaked the sore-ness away!  You’ll have to go follow me on Instagram if you want to see pictures of the mud masks we made!  We ate dinner that night atop an ancient Etruscan tomb in the city center of Siena.  Such a dream!!

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to experience such an incredible place!

This landscape is absolutely going on a canvas in my house somewhere (can you spot the pop of purple?!)!  I’ve had so many requests for prints of this and others and I’m happy to share my work!  If you are interested in purchasing any fine art prints from my trip to Italy (Venice included) just contact me for details!
