It’s true, the Fauvers took on Italy a second time- it must have been that coin we threw in the Trevi fountain in 2012. Venice is my new all time favorite city- I mean, how can you not love a city without cars? Not to mention the stunning green water of the Adriatic. Everyone gets lost in Venice, and that’s the point! It’s such an incredible city of twists and turns and Piazza’s and breathtaking architecture. I felt so inspired by it’s beauty that I got up at sunrise every single morning to watch the light spill over buildings and bring life to the city.
We had time to take a few self-portraits in Venice and I am so happy with the way they turned out! It is harder than it seems to compose, direct and photograph all from IN FRONT of the camera. I’m thankful for these memories in this beautiful place!
