Whiskey & Pearls

I loved my time there and the people I met and the things I got to experience.  So much so that I started telling Zach that we needed to move to Wisconsin, or Texas or California.  I saw God at work in those places through the friends I met and wanted to go be a part of THEIR culture.  But yesterday I was reminded that there is value in God’s work in MY life as well.  It may look totally different but He has established great things for me to do here.  And honestly?  I love the South!  I love cutting flowers from my garden and putting them in Mason Jars throughout the house (these are Gardenias and they smell HEAVENLY!).  I love ending the day with a little glass of Whiskey and taking out my pearl earrings for the night.  Sweet Southern comforts… It feels good to be home!
