One of my favorite parts of Hilton Village is the strong community among the neighbors here.  We get together for fun things each season like giving away close to 1,000 pieces of candy for Halloween, a Christmas tree lighting, and a Fourth of July parade!  We missed the parade last year on our Italian adventure but we were SURE to make it this year.  Even though my plane landed at 1:30a.m. on Wednesday night/Thursday morning from Madison, there was no way I was missing my front porch view bright and early that morning!

It felt weird to hold my camera again after two weeks of NOT using it.  Enjoy a little snapshot of how we celebrate July 4th around here!
