Kristen and I both went Phi Mu the same year.  We were in the Alpha Alpha class… “double the Alpha, double the fun!”  Those were the days!  Even though we were in the same sorority we never had a chance to hang out too much.  So after graduation, when our husbands started working long hours together at Casey BMW, I was excited for the opportunity to hang out with her more!  We got to be grown-up friends!  We both bought first time homes in the best neighborhood in Newport News… Hilton Village!!  We got to discover together the charms of the neighborhood: the Fourth of July parade, Wine on Wednesdays at 99 Main, and sunsets on the pier.  We dreamt about puppies and begged our husbands for them and I knew ahead of time when Mike got Kristen the Puggle she wanted for Christmas!  A Puggle, in case you’re wondering, is a mix of Pug and Beagle.  Scarlett is so cute and loves running around like crazy with Lucy.

We love having another couple our age (with a puppy!) that is obsessed with Hilton Village!  Kristen and Mike, thanks for being our “grown-up” friends!  Enjoy my favorites from our photo shoot in our beautiful neighborhood!
