I’ve been sitting on the news since week 5 and now I can finally tell the world that I’m going to be an Aunt!!  My sister and her husband are expecting a little one in March!!!

Growing up Barbara and I used to dream about our future- husbands, children, houses, etc.  We would swing for hours on the play set in our backyard and just plan our entire adult lives.  I specifically remember the day we decided what we were going to name our children.  I was older and more clever, of course, so I came up with the idea of having twins named “Sharon” and “Karen” because they would in fact, “share” and “care.”  (I know, I’m rolling my eyes at myself right now too!)  But Barbara, on the other hand, was a little more of a free spirit than I was and she decided to have 14 children, one of whom I distinctly remember was to be called “swing.”

As part of my toast at their wedding I told them I couldn’t wait to meet “Swing Fehr” and now he or she is on the way!!

Barb and Eric, I am SO excited for you and your growing family!!

Um, hi, isn’t my sister GORGEOUS?!  Barb, you are radiant!!He thinks it’s a boy, she thinks it’s a girl… we shall see!!   Meet Oliver!!  He’s so excited to be a big brother!
