After seven years of dating, a few moves, and a deployment, this story is too good not to share:

We met back in 2007 through friends who were dating one another at the time. I was a sophomore at ODU and he was in his second year of being stationed in Virginia Beach. We got pretty serious in the next few years and when he was transferred to Jacksonville, Florida in 2010, I decided to make the move with him. We got to do lots of fun things and have experienced so much in our relationship! When we found out that he was going to be stationed back in Virginia Beach, it was a no brainer that I would move back with him 🙂 About a month after moving back, he asked me to marry him. We were just back from a nice dinner and were getting ready for his approaching deployment when he called me into our room. When I came around the corner I saw him down on one knee with the ring in his hand. I was in complete shock but of course said YES! It was a very happy moment for us both and the wedding planning could finally begin! I look forward to many years of happiness and love with him 😉
