Well, on Wednesday of this week we welcomed the first day of Spring, complete with the obligatory free Rita’s italian ice, and on Thursday of this week we were all confused when scattered flurries occurred throughout the day.  It’s rare enough for it to snow in Hampton Roads in December, let alone in MARCH!  Saturday was a normal day and then sure enough by late Sunday afternoon the snow started and just kept coming!  Instagram was blowing up with snowy backyard views and even a few snowmen!

We spent much of the day reading, napping and catching up on a few of our favorite shows- very restful as the Sabbath should be.  But when the snow started sticking it was time to bust out the boots and coerce Lucy into a little photo shoot.  She’s such a willing model and absolutely loved the snow!
