Sometimes, the most memorable photo sessions are the ones that don’t go exactly as planned—and this one was no exception!

I had the absolute joy of photographing Clara & Libby for their senior session, and let me tell you—these two brought so much fun, energy, and personality to the shoot. But just as we were about to get started, the sky had other plans. Out of nowhere, a surprise storm rolled in, complete with dramatic clouds and a sudden downpour that nearly forced us to cancel.

For a moment, it looked like we might have to reschedule. But Libby & Clara were total champs. With a little patience, some flexibility, and a lot of laughter, we waited it out—and wow, were we rewarded! The storm passed, the skies cleared just enough, and we got the most beautiful post-rain glow that made every shot even more magical.

From spontaneous laughs to sweet sibling moments, this session was a perfect reflection of their bond and their unique personalities. Rain or shine, they showed up ready to celebrate this exciting season of life, and I’m so glad we stuck it out.
