It’s here, it’s here!!! Friends, let me tell you, what you’re looking at right now is the result of 6 months of work by Ashlee Proffitt Design and me. We’ve been emailing, pinning, and yes, even making trips to Lowes to perfect color palettes.
All the little details have been pulled together and we’re ready!! I’m SO so happy with the results!
True confession: I started this business with a logo I purchased from Etsy. It cost me $10 and it did everything I needed it to do at the time. But my business has grown quickly and with that I’ve been building a brand identity that ultimately didn’t match my logo or website. The images I loved to create were full of light and movement, and nothing about my previous brand suggested that. It was purple which I LOVED, but it was kind of dark and heavy. This brand board? Is anything BUT dark and heavy!
Through the recent Shoot & Share magazine I heard this quote from Seth Addison- “I think that design, really, is just this medium to communicate to the world who we are and what it is that we believe.” I could not agree more! This process of designing a brand for my business has delved into the core of who I am and what I believe to be true about life and photography and what I want to offer my clients.
I am so happy with the light, open feel of my new brand. It’s polished. It’s warm. It’s joyful. It’s me!!
