It was a seven hour drive for them, with their three year old in the back seat. Christen is studying to be a Physician’s Assistant (PA-C) and the long hours have kept her busy. We were up against odds of cold, windy weather. But greater than all these things, John and Christen chose to celebrate their marriage with a beautiful Richmond anniversary session.
This session was such a dream, not only because these two are friends, but I got to work with some of my favorite vendors at some of the best locations in the city. The wind died down, the sun popped out, and for the moment, the only crisis they faced was whether to waltz or shag.
We got down to the real moments between them: the way he makes her laugh as he holds her tight and the way she looks up at him with her gorgeous blue eyes. John and Christen, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to capture how you love each other in this season. What a joy!
