The minister spoke of sacrificial love and it was a theme repeated throughout the whole evening. These two were just meant for each other. When I saw Jerry the morning of the wedding his first question was “how is Meg doing?” Jerry often cooks Meg dinner and in exchange Meg goes on bike rides with him. The way they serve one another and care for each other is a beautiful thing to witness.
Jerry and Meg met through mutual friends on a vollyeball team. They called it “love at first serve” and Jerry proposed two years later on the beach at sunset. Their wedding was a year to the date of their engagement!
It was an elegant day focused on family. From the band of cousins and aunts led by Uncle Bill, to Maid of Honor Perri’s toast to her “dog-sister”, it was clear how important relationships are to these two.
