Gregory & Mary-Paige | A Rustic Windsor Barn Wedding

Gregory and Mary-Paige are one of those rare, awe-inspiring couples that have been together since high school!  Their story is too sweet not to share, so here’s a little bit from Mary-Paige:

“We met when Gregory’s family moved to Potomac Falls after his dad took the head football coach position. A mutual friend of ours was the football team manager and introduced us a few weeks before my senior year started. Over the school-year, we became very close friends and it wasn’t until July after graduation that Gregory worked up the courage to ask me out on a date. We went on our first date to see 4th of July fireworks and after that, we were inseparable for the rest of the summer. The next 4 years we worked through the ups and downs of a long distance relationship while we were both away at college. On September 8, 2011, we welcomed our baby girl into this world and the love we had for each other took on a whole new meaning. I fell even more in love with Gregory than I knew was possible when I watched him turn into an amazing father.

On October 30, 2013, Gregory asked me to marry him in true Gregory-style. I am one of those hard to surprise kind of people and some how always figure out when something is about to go down. He knew it would have to be spontaneous and random and he pulled it off. I had just started my first “big girl” job and we were planning on going out to dinner to celebrate my first week. I came home from work and opened the front door to Ella holding a bouquet of roses. I turned the corner into the kitchen to Gregory down on one knee with the ring box open in-hand. He managed to blurt out, “I had a great speech planned, but I can’t remember any of it. I love you so much! Will you marry me?” I of course said yes!  Gregory always keeps laughing and guessing what’s to come next and I’m looking forward to a lifetime of laughter and fun.”

Gregory and Mary-Paige, it was such an honor to be a part of your day!  Congratulations!
