That new Dan and Shay song came on the radio as I pulled away from our time together. “We’ll build our own family, one day at a time… we’ll build this love, from the ground up.” It was so fitting.

These two started building their forever last year and will become a family of three this summer! They are full of courage, excitement, and love. It was such a blast to hang out with them again during their Richmond maternity session- seriously there is no higher joy for me as a photographer than to continue serving my friends as their marriages grow.

Conner and Erica, I just love y’all. Thank you so much for continuing to invite me into the significant times in your lives. I am SO proud of both of you. Conner, you are quick to welcome and serve others and I can’t imagine a better trait for a Dad- both because of the way you will lead your family AND because of the example you will set for your son. And Erica, girl, you have the biggest heart. You joyfully consider others more highly than yourself, and as you become a mom, your little boy will be beyond blessed by your care for him. You both will be such incredible parents to your little future Sig Ep (hope he marries a Phi Mu!).
