CNU Day

One of my favorite things about being a CNU grad is the community with my fellow Captains.  We share a history, an experience, and a love for our university.  We swell with pride over just how far Christopher Newport University has come in the past years and we are overjoyed to have played a part in its story.

I still remember the two InterVarsity Christian Fellowship students who helped me move in (team Santoro!) freshmen year and invited me to their small group.  They cared for me so well that year and I grew a lot in my faith.  I went on to lead my own small group the next year and then serve on the executive board for the rest of college.  I am currently in my 8th year on staff with InterVarsity and attribute my employment to my experience at CNU.

Zach and I met at CNU and when he proposed to me he recalled the very first time he saw me in the halls of Ratcliffe.  Our campus is very much a part of our love story.

I had the privilege of joining the Phi Mu Lambda Epsilon chapter where I developed friendships that will last a lifetime.  I grew to love and learn from a diverse group of women, to lead with grace, and to laugh often.

I am honored to have had the opportunity to photograph so many fellow Captains in my years in this industry.  I am SO proud to have photographed weddings in the gorgeous new chapel!

CNU has changed and shaped my life for the better.  I am proud to be a Captain For Life and excited to give back to my alma mater today. Will you join me?

For today only if you make a donation of ANY amount to CNU and share on social media, you will be entered into a drawing to win a FREE mini session, a $250 value!!  Make sure to enter the contest below so I can let you know if you win!!
