A Bittersweet Transition

Well friends, we thought this day would never come and we’ve prolonged our official announcement because it still doesn’t seem real, but here goes:  we are spreading our wings and leaving our adopted home town.  This summer we are moving to Richmond.

We have loved living in Newport News for the past 11 years as we earned our degrees, got married and planted roots on Main Street.  We have built relationships here in the community and in our church that we will cherish forever.  This was one of the hardest decisions we’ve had to make, but we are trusting the goodness of the Lord and His leading of our lives in this new season.  We always knew we wanted to live and serve in a “Southern City”, we just had no idea we would be moving an hour NORTH for that!

I will continue Wedding Photography and serving with Eastern Virginia InterVarsity and Zach will continue with Keller Williams.  We are both looking forward to being a little bit closer to our families and to being more centrally located for all of our travel.

We are grateful to be renting our beloved dream house to some incredible Phi Mu women who will be completing graduate school this coming year.  A big part of our business and work will continue here in Newport News, so you’ll likely find us at 99 Main on a few random Wednesdays!  We are Captains for Life and we count the Hilton Village community as one of our biggest blessings.

I hope you’ll follow along for the ride as we move at the end of July.  Follow me on Instagram and Twitter to stay updated on our #FauveRVAdventure!
