Some sessions feel like a quiet breath of fresh air—and this one, with a lovely mom and her two beautiful daughters (ages 10 and 13), was just that. We met at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, a place that offered the perfect mix of elegance, creativity, and calm.
The girls were full of personality—one a little more reserved, the other bubbling with energy—and their bond with their mom was as strong as it was sweet. We wandered through the sculpture garden and along the reflecting pool, finding little pockets of soft light and color that brought out the beauty in both their connection and their surroundings.
The VMFA provided a stunning backdrop: clean lines, lush green spaces, and a subtle artistic spirit that seemed to match this trio’s graceful, thoughtful energy. Whether they were laughing together or leaning in for a quiet hug, every frame told a story of love, strength, and growing up together.
This session was a reminder of how special the in-between years can be—when childhood and adolescence overlap, and the bond between mother and daughters deepens in the most beautiful way.
