My mom is so creative!  She is a gift basket designer for a local gourmet dessert shop called Edibles Incredible in Reston, Virginia.  She’s always coming up with new creative ideas to enhance the beautiful gift baskets the store sells.

One of her ideas is a candy bouquet, and she made them for us kids for Christmas!   Isn’t it beautiful?!  So bright and colorful!  The bottom is a “vase” of boxed candy glued to a block of floral foam.  Each candy bar then gets a wooden stick taped to the back and inserted into the foam at various angles.  The key is to make sure that the backs of each candy bar is covered up by another candy bar… it’s less fun if you can see price tags and barcodes!  Here’s a front and back picture:

You could tweak this just a little, use candy that has your wedding colors and make a really fun, unique centerpiece at your reception!  Your guests would enjoy destroying it but with all that candy to choose from, they would be happy campers!
