“I honestly was so taken aback by him that entire summer, he was a true southern gentleman and such a breath of fresh air.”
Laura described meeting Patrick at their college internship, before he headed to Penn State and she headed to Cornell. Their long distance relationship stretched all over the country, from New York to California, Pennsylvania, and Richmond.
One morning three years later, Patrick proposed to Laura on the Golden Gate bridge, treating her to the one moment of the trip she had not foreseen. As a planner who is hard to surprise, Laura loved getting to spend the rest of the trip celebrating over wine with her fiancé!
Their Golden Retriever puppy, Lily (who stole the show at their engagement session), joined their family this summer!
Laura says, “we want to build a beautiful life together. When we think of our future, we are excited. I can’t think of a better foundation to start a marriage on – love and an honest excitement for a beautiful life.”
Patrick and Laura, it was truly an honor to document day one of your beautiful life. The two of you together bring such kindness, gentleness, and joy to anyone that interacts with you. Your Charlottesville wedding was the perfect representation of the North and South; your family and friends filling the room with testaments to how far you’ve come and how very much you’ve invested. I am beyond happy for you to Mr. and Mrs. Guin!! Congratulations!!!
